Today is my sweet boy's, ummm. young man's, 9th birthday. Actually, by the time I get this post finished it will be the day after his 9th birthday. I have so many things to write about you, my son. I'm not sure where to begin. Dad and I were certainly surprised to find out you were on your way. Holley was only a little baby when we found out you were going to be coming along in the same year. But, I wouldn't trade it for anything. My due date with you was Dec. 24, 1999. My doctor wanted you to come 10 days early because you were a big baby and because he tried to deliver most of his patients before Christmas. You were the best Christmas present I've ever received. You were such a sweet natured little guy, content to watching the world go by, very laid back, never seemed to mind being drug along to all of your sister's activities. You still have remnants of that laid-back personality that shine through today. I found a bunch of pictures today and have been having such a good time looking back through all of the memories, very good and sweet memories of your baby days. I know most of the pictures I posted are of when you were just a little guy, but those days are so precious to me and I just wanted to let every one reading this catch a glimpse of the sweet baby you were. You will always be my sweet baby boy, even when you are a daddy yourself. I pray the coming year will be filled with more wonderful memories, health, and more love than you've ever known. Daddy and I love you so much, never forget that!!! Love, Mom.
Ok friends, now that I can see again...sniff-sniff, I hope you enjoy the smilebox. I had such a great time making it. There are numerous other pics I found, but most of the pics from his tiny infant days are in my storage unit somewhere and I don't have access to them at the moment. Hopefully someday they will be found. I know I promised to update you on the meet, and on our surprise "outing" on Friday night...patience my dear ones....We'll get there. Tonight is a night of reflection and remembrance for me, of a wonderful time in my life when my precious newborn son came into our family...
