Hello all! We're back. Actually we never left but there has not been much to report in the way of excitement in our lives for the past few days. I've been working and the kiddies just spent the weekend with their Dad so I haven't posted. Today was the last day of vacation before school starts again tomorrow. Holley has also had a break from the gym so it has been nice to get to hang out together. We went and saw the new Disney movie 'Bedtime Stories' today. It was cute. Then we came home and had ANOTHER Christmas today!!! Over the weekend 6 rather large boxes arrived from Nana (Dad's mom). The kiddies had a great time opening all of their gifts from Nana and Grandpa, Great-Granny and Great-Grandpa, Aunt Brenda and Uncle Tom and Uncle Steve and Aunt Nancy. Then we jumped back in the car to go shopping. The kiddies wanted to spend some of the gift cards they received for Christmas. First we made a quick stop to exchange some jeans for the correct sizes and then we went to Target where Allie made her very first purchase. She picked a Cinderella Barbie-type doll, Mermaid Falls (a toy to play with in the tub) and her most favorite thing EVER a $2.48 huge plastic ball. She gave the cashier her gift card and everything, she was so proud....Thanks Perry you made her week!!! We went to Old Navy before Target, forgot to mention that....Macie picked out 2 shirts and because everything is 75% off right now she actually has a little extra on her card that she wants to save so she can get some flip-flops in the spring.... Our next stop was Best Buy!!! Perry (my sister) once again made Holley and Scott's week by giving them gift cards. They each picked out games for their Nintendo DS's. Holley picked one about babies, and she can be a virtual babysitter, and Scott picked Nintendogs and Mariokart. The were SO excited. Thanks Perry!!! Then we grabbed a bite at Red Robin then came home and it is shower and find backpack time. Tomorrow we are back to the grind at school and the gym. Holley's practice schedule is changing a little bit. She will be practicing Tues 430-730, Wed 530-830, and Sat 9-12. Allie still goes Wed 545-630, and Macie has flute lessons on Thurs. 530-600. Have no idea when spring baseball starts but that will be beginning for Scott sometime in the next couple of months. I have to admit that I am not looking forward to school starting again tomorrow.
Flashback to Thanksgiving....remember these (terrifying) little fuzz-balls??? Well, they're not so little and WAY more terrifying now....
This weekend was the 4H chicken show....Scott and Jared (Scott's Dad's girlfriend's son) showed their chickens...
Here are some pictures of the fab four opening their most recent set of Christmas gifts...

Oh wow! Look at all those chickens. I loved the update on them. The Christmas pictures are great! I hope someday you print this blog out or do that blurb.com so the kids can see this.
Thank you for the SWEETEST post about Lauren! I came across some pictures on my old computer I will try to send you soon. I want to tell you about them but I think I will wait and surprise you!
Talk to you soon. Have a good week at work!
Sounds like a fun time was had! Let me know when they spend their Gamestop Cards - would love to know what they choose.
Didn't know they were doing the chicken thing!! Goodness!
